Making images in the mountains
I love being surrounded by mountains! In january I went for a skiing trip and encountered some fantastic weather conditions for photography.
A lot of times I have all blue skies on holidays so this was great for capturing some amazing shots. My Nikon 24-120 f/4 S was basically glued to my camera for the entire week. I came away with some great shots. It just has that pop in image quality the 24-200 doesn’t have. I’ve recently sold that lens, even though it is so versatile.
I feel that every time I am in the mountains I come away with some great images, no matter the weather. I am very pleased how the images of the trip turned out. Next year we will return to the area and hopefully have as much fun and lots of landscape images as a result.
